It can be common to get them after sex in a lot of women. If it happens every time you have sex then Id ask a obgyn whats going on with you. Also, its great that you pee after sex but try to pee before also. Its not great to have sex with a full bladder, can be uncomfy and during sex theres going to be pressure on your bladder. Good luck to ya! :^)

who ever you are having sex with is probably not cleaning himself properly and does not have good hygiene. you need to urinate IMMEDIATELY after sex to prevent UTI. wait no longer than 10 minutes.

i would talk to your doctor about it. i know from experience that UTIs are awful! I did read somewhere before that some women do get them every single time they have sex and you can get some kind of medicine to take everytime. Make sure your doctor listens and you feel comfortable because I once had one tell me that i must have an STD since I would get UTIs a couple times a year which is ridiculous.
