I would start with your primary care doctor regardless.
If you have had stones in the past, then you should see a nephrologist to look into why you are having them and how to reduce your risk of future stones.
If your primary care doctor finds large stones, then he or she will likely refer you to a urologist. There are medicines that can help pass stones more effectively if they are not too big, if they are too large then other procedures need to be taken and a urologist is the expert in that field.
Good luck

Go to your regular doctor. They will talk with you about any symptoms you are having can schedule any other tests they may feel are necessary to confirm. They can also give you an antibiotic prescription or pain prescription if needed.

A regular MD should be fine unless they keep coming, or you have complications or other serious conditions.
