Kidney stones are made from different elements, in order to advise diet changes it is necessary to obtain a stone passed either through straining your urine or by basket manipulation of the stone by a Urologist. Once obtained they can analyze the stone for the element. Sometimes blood test will show elevations in the element, Calcium, Uric Acid, Cystine. Struvite. Calcium stones make up the majority…so milk, cheese, dairy products and no added calcium supplements. Drinking water helps flush the kidneys out, and stress does play a role.
Calcium is an important element in bones and teeth, so modification, not elimination.

Do it right. Talk to you doctor first, and get a list of the foods you are allowed to have.
You could ask us but you should consult your doctor about any medical condition that you have.
Someone here might tell you to eat the wrong things and it could make your situation worse.

Avoid spinach and foods high in oxalates. These foods may exacerbate kidney problems or cause more kidney stones. Talk with your doctor.

Been there and done that.
I was told to avoid high oxolate foods too. Rubbish! I eat all the high oxolate foods I want and I don’t worry about getting any more kidney stones. It turns out that it is the combination of high oxalate foods and animal protein that causes the problem. Eat a plant based diet with little animal protein and you won’t have any problem.
At least this is my opinion and I use to get a kidney stone every two years but can’t remember when I had the last one.

There are different reasons for kidney stones, it very much depends on what kind of stones you have. Some kind of stones are caused by a drug you might be taking, in other cases it might have to do with your diet or it might run in your family. You absolutely will have to see your doctor in order to determine how to avoid future stones.
In case your stones are caused by oxalate, there are some foods you better avoid, the National Kidney and Urologic Disease Clearinghouse has put together a comprehensive list. Check out the sources. There are ways to prevent further stones, but you should see your doctor first in any case!
