What hurts worse than childbirth?

I’ve have two children and know their labors were not the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I’m doing some research into the theory that for many women childbirth is their first experience with real pain, and so for them it is the worst pain they have ever felt. But for women who have had a baby and had other expereinces with pain, what painful events, procedures and injuries hurt worse than what you experienced in labor? I already have been told kidney or gall stones, lyme disease and chronic back pain. What else have you experienced that was worse than labor?

I have never had lyme disease, but i do have back a deteriating disc in my lower back which at times is quite painful. I also have had 2 knee surgeries where pins were put in, the after effects are the worse on that. I think the most painful thing to happen to me is when i chipped my funny bone, ( freezer door of a resturant i was working in at the time slammed shut on my arm) was probably the worse.

I once had a severe ear infection in both ears. All I can say is if that ever occurs again, someone shoot me please! A dry socket after having a tooth pulled rates up there pretty high as well.

A few yrs ago, I developed blood clots in my hands, and I can honestly say, I rather not go through that again!! My babies all brought back labor pains and that has stayed with me since.
