Under stomach/uterus pains? UTI? Kidney? PLS HELP! 10 PTS BEST ANSWER!?
My mom has been having pains under her stomach area and it moves/rotates to the left, then right, and sometimes even to the back. She can not describe the pain, but it has been there for a while, about a month or so.
She went to the hospital 2 weeks ago and they diagnosed it as Urinary Tract Infection and gave her antibiotics. She finished the antibiotics, but still had the pain. People even told her to drink cranberry juice, but still no help. She went to the doctor and he diagnosed it as Kidney Stones, and again, gave her more antibiotics, and same story, finished the pills, but no help. She has another appt in 2 days, but the pain is so unbearable she can’t even bear to walk or sleep.
So has anyone had any of those symptoms? Do you know what this is? please help, any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

That sounds like how my pain started, am now on my second course of antibiotics, have never known pain like it!
Am just taking my 16 tablets a day, drinking plenty of fluids, going to the loo as soon as I feel I need to and trying not to eat as that seems to cause a flare up! Am showering rather than bathing, no perfumed soaps and cotton pants, I was also told to empty my bladder immediately before and after sex, but that is not an issue for me at the moment!
Hope your mum feels better soon, sorry I can’t give any more help.

if the pain is so bad that she can’t sleep and has trouble walking, she should go to the emergency room. you don’t say how the dr diagnosed the kidney stones, was an ultrasound done? kidney stones are extremely painful and she should have been given pain meds. also, sometimes they can get stuck and cause an obstruction, she needs to be seen by dr or hosp again and probably needs more testing. don’t hesitate to call the dr. office back when you have questions or are not better. that is what they are there for. good luck, i hope she is feeling better soon
