Ok so I’m 13 and I’m pretty sure I have a urinary tract infection. I don’t know how to tell my mom though. I just feel embaressed to tell her even though i know lots of girls get them. So how can I tell my mom without feeling awkward?
my mom has had a staghorn kidney stone operated on about 2 months ago and had a stent for about 4 weeks. She still has a few stones left after 3 other treatments by ultra sound. now having problems with a sore leg and a swollen foot. What could this mean? any good natural remedies for kidney stone removal? thanks

ok so my dad has kidney disease and sometimes peas out kidney stones.so today we all thought he was passing a stone but what came out shocked us it looked as if little black pieces of plastic came out and we have no idea what it is so my mom is thinking the stent somehow broke and came out.anyways this was very painful for my dad and caused him to lose alot of blood plus cut the inside of his drain tube and now when he uses the bathroom the pain is very bad we are gonna take him to the hospital but my dad is thinking if it is the stent is there a possible lawsuit here? plz help and sorry for misspelling words.

Did you have to have your gall bladder removed? If so, what was the recovery like, and how large/how many were your scars? How long was it before you were back at work after the surgery?

My mom is 50 years old, 5′6", and weighs about 156 lbs. She recently underwent an angioplasty procedure after she learned she had 99% blockage in one of her arteries in her heart. And she had a blood clot in her heart. Plus, she had multiple mini heart attacks that never damaged her heart muscle.
Plus, she has had a history of kidney stones and an enlarged, fatty liver. But she is now complaining of a particular symptom that is bothering her. She has had it for a while and it feels like a "bunching feeling" in her stomach (it seems) and to the left side (opposite side of the liver). She’s not sure what it is, any answers?

My brother has crones disease and is in the hopital about once a week. He had an abdominal xray and my mom works at the hospital he had it at. She looked at his medical record and seen a 9mm kidney stone. They didn’t treat him for this we assume because of his extensive medical bills. I understand they don’t have to treat him if it wasn’t life or death, but they didn’t tell him about it either. In there patients rights it said he has the right to be informed of his medical conditions and proper home and in care treatment. If we bought his medical records ( which we have most of them there are so many its in a box. We are trying to get a disability lawyer.) and hire a lawyer can they be suede for this?
well ofcourse he would be the one obtaining them silly. lol. He has a right to the information thats where they FD up haha and he is like 25 so its like something my parents have no control over hes just so sick we are researching this for him and i am contemplating paying the lawyer so want to know. Dont want to pay for the consultation if i dont have to

So I did look up the symptoms..but I’m not entirely sure…I don’t want to like raise alarms for nothing…
I’ve been in pain for the past three days. My pain started around lower right abdominal area (not so much near the bellybutton…) but like somewhat upper thigh…I also have constant back pain like right behind that area. When I’m holding my urine, it hurts so much. After I use the bathroom, the pain ebbs a bit and it’s duller.
Today I woke up with both sides in so much pain. Now the pain migrates between the left side and the right side. On the left side the same thing is happening, my lower back on the left hurts as does my left side and it hurts to move/walk. When it’s on my left side, there’s no pain on my right side. And vice versa. I tried that putting pressure on the area and removing and it kinda hurts but not excessively so.
I don’t think I’ve ever had this pain this bad before. My mom had appendicitis when she was younger too. I thought maybe it was due to salt intake or something because I’m now fasting for Ramadan. I just started yesterday too. I’ve been having constipation as well and I did use the bathroom and I feel the pressure go away a bit more this early morning, but it still came back now.
How do I know it’s not a kidney stone or something else..? Anyone with experience? If the pain doesn’t ebb I’ll most likely call a doctor…but yeah.
I’ve been drinking a lot of water and my urine is clear. There hasn’t been blood in my urine either…
I was like constipated this morning not the days before…the days before wasn’t. And when I push on the left my right side hurts when I let go…
It also just moved this morning…yesterday and the day before it was constant right side pain. And now my left side hurts real bad…I already excreted so I’m fine now with the constipation.
Also, I started fasting yesterday. The day before I was eating normally and I still was having that pain…I don’t think it’s Ramadan right now.
Is this supposed to happen or no?

My mom has a kidney stone and it’s 5 mm. It right now is at the end of the bladder and is at the verge of coming out. The doctor says to drink lots of water and walk around. She’s been drinking lots of water and peeing often. But the pressure down below is unbearable without the pain pills because the kidney stone is blocking the urinary tract a bit. When she tries to pee, only a little pee comes out and there is little to no relief from the pain. Her belly is getting bigger from drinking so much water and not being able to pee all of it out. Is this supposed to happen? I think the kidney stone is gonna pass tonight.
The pressure’s not that bad, she has access to a bathroom now. It got really bad to the point where she started crying in the car cuz she had to go so badly and there was no restroom. The pressure was so bad then. But now, she’s taking pain pills and the pressure without the pill isn’t as bad as the car. I have a feeling its gonna pass tonight (I really hope so )

I scare myself a lot.
I always think I’m dying from something, ever since I was like 12.
I’ve been paranoid that I have had each of the following at some point:
a brain tumor, heart failure, aneurysm, intestinal blockage, ectopic pregnancy, urinary tract infection, kidney stones, ulcers, skin cancer… But I’m still fine.
It even goes into mental health conditions.
I think I have OCD, anxiety, bipolar… I always thought it was OCD because I’ll have thoughts about diseases that won’t go away and I will obsess and obsess about them. I can’t block it out.
I’ll learn about a disease, and then a day or two later I will start having symptoms. I try to convince myself that I’m fine, but it doesn’t work and I’ll get depressed and scared and cry a lot.
Also my mom would make fun of me when this happened and tell me to take placebos to make it go away. =(
Is this normal to be this worried about my health all the time? I am 18 so this has been happening for about 6 years.
3 Fridays ago I woke up at 3am and felt sick to my stomach but we had an appointment that I couldn’t miss. So I went to that after the appointment I told my mom my right side hurt we thought it was appendicitis but we went to the ER and they said that I had a kidney stone on both sides and that it would pass in a couple of days. Well 7 days later they didn’t pass so we went to the urologist and he said I have 5 kidney stones on my left and 4 on my right. I drink a lot of water too so my mom and I were shocked. So now I have a ureteral stent in to open up my ureter so they can take the kidney stones out. Then two weeks after that there doing the right side. This hole stupid process is taking six weeks of my summer away. How am I going to prevent them and why do I have so many I’ve never had them before and I’m only 14

I’m an active 13 year old girl. I’ve had this problem for a year now and i just can’t take it anymore.. i go to pee about 15 times a day or just depends on what I am doing. No matter what i do i have to go to the bathroom or it feels like ill have an accident. I’ve been tested for kidney stones,infections,diabetes, basically everything and all negative.. the doctors told me i had bad anxiety, which i do, and i went to a personal counselor but it didnt working so i stopped going. We gave up and stopped worrying about it but im scared to tell my mom im tired of this. I’ve had thoughts it might be OCD but i could be wrong. I want surgery or something just to instantly cure it. I’m an athlete so i travel alot and i cant even be in the car for 20 minutes without freaking out. I’m just a kid i don’t know what to do or think, if you could help in any way it would mean everything to me! Anybody have any suggestions?! Anything?? PLEASE HELP!:(

I’ve been dating an older guy for the past 2 months & a week ago, he had an attack of kidney stones & passed 2. He passed one at the hospital & the other one at home. When he passed the 2nd stone, I heard him scream from the bathroom & it just sounded like he had a knife coming out of him. He said he doesn’t mind being so vocal when he passes a kidney stone cause they’re so painful! My mom said its like having a baby for a man? when he took the stone to his urologist, he told him that this stone that he had passed was a "masterpiece!" it was that big & odd-shaped. My bf acted like it was no big deal & said, "all i did was pass a calcium stone!" what does it feel like for a man when he pisses out a stone through his dick? my bf said he was pissing fire into a strainer, any other men get that too? apparently he offended one of his ex gf’s that he had a baby with because in the delivery room he said, "at least she can get an epidural, nothing like passing a kidney stone for a man!"

my mom has low back pain to her right side and i noticed it’s a little swollen than her left side and she is a little cold but she says she’s always like that!
the pain has been on and off for just over a week!

I met my boyfriend 5 mths ago but we been dating for only almost 2 months. We love each others and I had met his family, friends and he also met my family.What happened was last week, I just found out that he diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 1 ½ year ago. Although, we only been dating for 2 mths but I had so much feeling for him and I thought of him every day. He is 31 and am 26. I told my family about his disease which I should have keep it to myself not it happened already. They totally against me being together with him even now and in the future. They convinced me and non of them supporting me. They said im still young, single and have a college degree and that I will not have any problem looking for a better guy. My mom even said it ok for me to marry even an ugly guy but as long as he is not sick or having any diseases. They said am blinded and stubborn, hard headed and I don’t know what am doing. They said my life will be miserable with him because if one day he really sick and fall down, I will have to work hard to take care of him, his mom and my kids may get his diseases too. Everything will be on both of my shoulders, a big burden on me. But to me that what love is about. They said its ok with he diagnosed after we married but as of now we are not marry yet so why am I being so stubborn and stick to him for? My family don’t wanted me to go through this path and it is not late for me to leave him now and shouldn’t waste any more time, energy, efforts and money. My boyfriend is the guy that I really wanted to get to know him better and find out more about him regardless his disease. However, there is one thing I really concerns him is he being so cheap. He spent money very carefully. I said he cheap because he analyzed how he spent his money and even how I spent my own money. He thought about how much I spent on lunch I brought to his house and the gas I spent from my house to his. I didn’t raised that issue up until we had a chat about having a budgets and he talked about it. The 2nd times we hanged out for a date he asked me if I can take care of the movies and I said yes. Thought it was a joke but he did let me paid for it. One time, he said why I always expect him to pay for everything and he said am cheap. I don’t mind taking care of the bills sometimes but i don’t like when he asked me to pay for it on my 2nd date. Then another time he asked me again to pay for movies. He said I take care of the dinner and you take care of the movies. He never take me to shopping or buy me anything. He never buy anything expensive for him either ,he bought his clothes at target, marshall, old navy or H&M only. He always has a budget for every little thing. He work as a financial advisor and own a house; sure that he has lot of bills but I sometimes cant stand the way he take care of me. He always use his phone to calculate tips everytime we hanged out to eat. I told him he is too cheap and he said he is not cheap, he just has a budget for thing he spent and that he is careful that’s all. He has diabetes but he never exercise or really watch his diet, he ate all types of food without watching it. Although he looks strong and very healthy but my parents said years down the road the symptoms will persists, and it will get worst. They convinced me that his sex life will be a major problem because of his disease and he will be on medicines everyday for the rest of his life. He is also having kidney stones right now. I’m still with him but I my parents thought we broke up. I don’t wanted to lie or hide from them but I don’t want to leave the guy either, I do love him and am happy when am with him (pretty much most of the time). I don’t wanted to make a wrong decision of leaving him because of his disease. I don’t mind at all and I wanted to be there for him now and later on. Im sure there are more unique characters in him for me to go for. However, regarding marriage, It is still too early for me to know if he is the one I wanted to get marry since we only been dating for 2 mths.
My concerns are: should I leave him? My parents will get very angry if they find out am still with him. I know its my life and I make my own decision but my parents are giving me lot of pressures and they said lot of things to discourage me. My mom has been sick for about a week now with terrible pain located around the left kidney. She recently has come up with some other symptoms like nausea, high fevers, chills, stomach bloating (huge amount of bloating), almost complete lose of appetite and thirst, reddening of the skin around where the pain is, and lack of sleep. She had an appointment scheduled three days from now, but me might end up running her into the emergency room. I thought she might have a kidney stone, but then she started getting the bloating and the redness. I’m really worried. What would cause her to actually redden on the skin around the area of the pain? I’m worried she might have an infection. What do you guys think? I would like to get an idea of what might be wrong with her.
**by the way, the redness is not a rash, it kinda looks like a bruise…

I’ll start from the beginning . In April of 2010 , I started to get hungry , tired , thirsty , and urinated . a lott . I kept getting symptoms of UTIs , kidney stones , and all kinds of stuff . My peditrition tested me for Diabetes , but my sugar was only 120 , even though I had eaten over 3 hours before . Because she didn’t bother to look into anything else , we switched doctors . I then got tested by fasting , and my sugar was 75-85 [I don't remember the exact number , it was in August ] . In October of 2010 I got Appendicitis , and got my appendix removed . I started to have stomach pains again in November , and had a TON of tests done on me . It was my gallbladder , which I had removed in Feb. 2011 . In April 2011 , I started having the same pains . Again -.- . Last week , I passed out in class because of low blood sugar , but by the time the nurse came my body had shot out the sugar I needed , so it was only 117 . I have been getting SO tired lately again , urination every 30-60 minutes , I feel like I always have to eat , I randomly get double vision (without trying) , and my feet always get numb&superr cold ! I’m sorry this is so long , but can someone please help me ?! I just wanna know what’s wrong with mee):

Crazy question, but my mom’s dog had one once. How do you know if they do?
She’s constantly having to go outside. She doesn’t just walk nicely up to the door – she DEMANDS to go out, barking loud and what not. Then, when we get out, she tries to be a couple times but nothing really comes out. Sometimes it does, but sometimes she’ll squat and nothing.
Are there any other symptoms to look for?
