I went to the dr, because i thought i had a bladder infection or uti..blood work and ua came back neg for infections and std (not sexually active, just putting that out there lol) I have a lot of pain in my right side, maybe an inch or two lower than my rib (its the floating rib, not the ribcage) and i also feel pain in my back, its been pretty consistent pain for about a week, it feels like a stabbing pain, or almost like a bad cramp from running. i also feel it in my back on my right side., about even where it hurts in the front. When the dr pushed on my abdomen, it HURT BAD, she said i didnt have any infections and kind of just blew it off. Im going to get a second opinion on Monday. Could it be a kidney stone? or what? I have been drinking a lot of water lately (2-3 liters a day), ive also been taking azo twice a day for about a week now too, and it hasnt helped. If it is a kidney stone, would it just hang out for a while or flush itself out? Could it even be a kidney stone? Or a misdiagnosed UTI? Kind of confused here, thanks in advance guys

So i had a CT scan for some abdominal pain ive been experiancing.
They said i had a very small ovarian cyst and 2 kidney stones. I have cramping in my abdomen area. The dr also said i have a bladder infection and ive had it for 2 months. i’m afraid i could have some endemetriosis but which one do yall think is causing this pain??? ok first lets rule out what I dont have since I’ve been to several doctors and been tested, DON’T have diabetes, UTI, no kidney/gallbladder stones, no abmoral kidney scans, not pregnant, don’t use drugs/smoke/alcohol.

heres what my symptoms are:

pee at night about three times a night its so frustrating wakes me up at night,
pee during the day more than your usual person I wanna say twice every hour sometimes even more and its really annoying.
my stress level is moderate
dry mouth
always thirsty due to dry mouth
no pain when I pee just my upper right side feels pressure when I have to pee and goes away when I pee, not painful just annoying.

I thought it could be overactive bladder but wouldn’t that mean that I would have to have a bladder infection, someone help any suggestions would help since i’ve been to several doctors and nothing they say that im normal.

One doctor did tell me that I had IBS, and have always had problems with this but never the bladder issue until recently for about two months

yes, i am pretty sure i have a bladder infection i’m running to the bathroom every ten minutes! and it hurts when i pee, and its cloudy. if so a bladder infection, could it turn into kidney stones, and if so how fast can this happen? i can make a doc appointment, but its the weekend so i would have to wait.

ok i have been sexually active for like 3 years i have had a UTI,bladder infection kidney infection and yeast infection before i know what all these are and i know for a fact its not none of these….. but anyways i have this white discharge no smell and every time i have intercourse it hurts in some positions and some times i randomly get these pains in my lower right side i guess where you would say my ovaries are but i don’t know im not a doctor. I am 16 and I have been having symptoms that seem like they would stem from a bladder infection, but I have had multiple urine tests and cultures come back negative. I get a random sharp pain in the area where my bladder is located, it doesn’t seem to be at all connected with when I go to or need to go to the restroom. I have also been having frequent urination and urgency with urination on and off for the past month. I have had x-rays and ultrasounds to rule out kidney stones, reflux into the ureters or any other anatomical deformity. Does anyone know what these symptoms could be? The urologist seemed very uninterested as it was not a surgical case and that is his specialty, he said this sometimes just happens and pretty much deal with it, but if it is something then I would really like to get something done if there is a chance that this can be fixed.

So doctors thought i had PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease).They did a pelvic exam and found i had no STD which can cause PID. They also did a CT scan and found no inflamation in my pelvic area. Does this mean i can stop thinking i have this disease????? I also have a small ovarian cyst and 2 kidney stones, a bladder infection and fluid behind my uterus.

I go to the urologist on tuesday. i am just looking for a little comfort i guess between now and then. basically i have pcos and went to the er was in sever pain. they found out i have kidney stones. sent me to the urologist about 4 months ago. things were "fine" then. did ct scan stones were there but i had 50% chance of passing them so urologist said come see me in 6 months if there is no change. well recently it seems i have had to go to the bathroom(urinate) like every 30 to 45 minutes during the day and every 15 to 30 minutes at night. driving me nuts. so i went to pcm they checked for uti and bladder infection. nothing. went to my obgyn when the pain came on thinking it may be the pcos. no there is an infection in my uterous. but she thinks my bladder may have some issues as well. then the last 3 days my urine has been pink and red. visable blood? any clue on the path i am headed here? i have no stds i do a paps and pelvic like 4 times a year for fertility reasons. help please?
thanks joesph for the reply but no i didnt eat beet root and it is possible for visable blood in the urine it is called Gross hematuria. the cause is what i am clueless about though.
Went to the doc. There is a stone blocking the urine pathway. get to have surgery friday thanks to ya’ll that helped.

Last month I had my period around July 16th. I was on vacation only a week and a few days after that and had my period again. I had sex only once with my boyfriend but it is the 20th of August and I haven’t had it this month. I do not have any early pregnancy symptoms. Every time my period comes around I also get a bladder infection. When I was pregnant I had kidney stones and I was wondering if that could be the reason I am still getting bladder infections and why I get them when I get my period? Does anyone knwo any reason why I would have two periods in three weeks? Would this effect me not getting my period on time this month or could I be pregnant?

My cycles are somewhat irregular, usually ranging between 26-31 days, but more often than not, around 27-29 days. Only, this month, I am having a second period?! I just had one starting on the 14th. Lasted 5 days as usual, cramps, mood swings and all. Now, I just started bleeding again today. I was wondering if this would happen because I noticed the usual changes I have before my period (increase discharge, moody). Now that I started bleeding, I’m having cramps/ pressure…mostly back pain, and lots of pressure "down there" and in my bum…??

History:
I had a similar episode with the pressure not long ago, maybe 3-4 weeks ago. I had pain in my left abdomen (front and back, not so much on the side) and tons of pressure and some crampiness/back pressure/pain. Was told to go to the e-room, so I did. Tested for kidney stones and found nothing on CT scan or in blood work and was given IV. Followed up with my doc and she said bladder infection. Took antibiotics and later came down with staph infection on skin. Now I’m on my second week of strong antibiotics (ones used for MRSA) and skin is pretty much healed up.
A couple of days ago, my chest broke out overnight and looked like heat rash (folliculitis) which has since cleared up. Now, this…I feel like a crazy person! I don’t wanna go BACK to the doctor yet again…I feel like a hypochondriac, but I’m not imagining any of this. Could it just be stress with everything else going on with my body? My daughter started pre-k and is being defiant, and my husband is on his first deployment since joining the Army. So, def PLENTY of stressors.

Does this sound like the symptoms could possibly all be related? Is it cause for concern? Or likely just my body’s way of reacting to all of this stress?

I’m 15 and I’m a girl. I’ve been getting a dull pain in my left lower back (probably kidney) and in my front lower left abdomen (probably my bladder). I’m afraid of what it could be or become. Bladder infection? Kidney disease? Kidney failure? Urinary tract infection? Kidney stones? Some type of cancer? I did some research and from what Ive found, when a young girl expieriences pains such as mine, a doctor must do a pelvic exam. I don’t know how true this is but the reason I’ve always hated going to the doctor was because I was always afraid I’d get a pelvic exam for any visit to the doctors. So it turns out that now that I may have a serious problem, the only way to help myself is to do the thing I dread the most. Lovely. So anywho, I’ve been looking online, without actually being diagnosed, for cures to bladder infections and so on. I have failed but I hear alot of good things about cranberry juice and others said it wasn’t going to help me at all. Reasons for which i dont want a pelvic exam are basically because im embarrassed or ill be nervous and i also dont want to answer questions like "are you sexually active?" which im not, and "do you masturbate?" which i do. I also have some small sores on the front of my vagina from shaving and I don’t want the doctor to think it’s something else. What do you think I might have? Should I risk the visit for an exam? Are they even going to give me a pelvic exam? Is there any way I can get rid of this problem myself?

I had sex for the very first time last friday, and I’m very very nervous about a few things..
Its very unfortunate to say that my partner did not use a condom.
While we were having sex, it started out with me on my back and he was standing off the bed. It wasn’t working for him, so he asked me to get on top.
So I did, and the weirdest thing happened. I started losing feeling in my hand, and I got really light headed and sick, like I was going to puke.
He said I kind of leaned over and almost looked like I was passing out, so he stopped and we got dressed and everything, and it was over.
I assumed that since I’m so young (14) my body went into shock or something, and not to mention the fact that I’m anemic and I get light-headed and dizzy very easily anyway.
So, because I didn’t have a condom, I’m scared and worried about pregnancy.. What are some early symptoms? I have a very irregular period (it often skips 1-2 months at a time) so waiting to see if I missed is something I don’t want to do..
After gathering the courage to ask him, he said that he didn’t ‘finish’—if you know what I mean, so that was a slight relief. But I’ve heard that it can happen without guys noticing sometimes.
Another concern is, the day after I noticed that I had to pee a lot more often. And it was like, I didn’t have to pee one second, and then the next I had to be at the bathroom NOW or I felt like I would pee myself. Then I noticed that I hardly felt like I was done peeing, but I couldn’t go anymore. And THEN towards the end of my pee it hurt really bad to go.
I talked to one of my friend’s and she suggested kidney stones or some other bladder infection. And, after seeing two of what I assume are the kidney stones in the toilet, I figured that it would just go away eventually. I haven’t seen any more, but it still kind of hurts to go.
Are any of these related?
I’m very worried.. Please help? Please any other information or suggestions then to see a doctor… Not only do I want to avoid degrading myself by explaining all this to my parents, I don’t want to burn an even bigger hole in their pockets by going to an unnecessary check-up. Last week our rabbit was showing signs of pain by standing up in a hunched position every so often. He would also clean at his private areas a lot. We took him to the vet and she said it was either kidney stones or a bladder infection. After rubbing his stomach quickly she determined that it was probably a stone because she felt a large round object. She said the only way to treat this is with surgery, which is very expensive. Is this true or are there any other options?

He doesn’t appear to be in any pain and is eating, drinking, and is acting normal. He only was showing signs of discomfort for about 2 hours last week and he stopped showing signs of pain before we took him to the vet. I have seen online rabbits can pass stones on their own, is this true? It’s a rather large one so that’s why I’m wondering.

I also would notice that when I would have intercourse with with husband, it would hurt (but usually only when I was on top). Now today it started hurting when I walk around. It is on my lower left side of my abdomen. It also hurts in my lower back, right behind it. Do you know what this could be caused by? My guess was that it is a bladder infection because lately, sometimes I would hold my pee at night when I was in bed and wouldn’t go until morning. What do you think it is? If you have any questions about other symptoms, please ask. I will respond by editing it onto here.

The reason I posted on here is because I just recently had a D&C (the beginning of this month) and was wondering too, if that could have anything to do with it?

Yeah weird. When I looked up lower left abdominal pain it mentioned an appendicitis, but I looked up one and it is on the right side. I don’t know why that medical sight showed an appendicitis as one of the possible reasons.

ok a couple nights ago i thought i was having kidney stones or something woke up with horrible stomach pains and back pain so i went to the ER well turns out i have a bladder infection that spread to my kidneys. it really bothers me that i didn’t have any symptoms cause what if i get it again ? i wont know till it gets to my kidneys again ? i just wanna know why i didn’t have symptoms and if that’s something i should be worried about?
