Stomach pain/ reflux – and Gall stones?
I am on protonix and still having pain in the abdomen regiion and extreme sensitivity over the liver gall bladder area, and none over the stomach. My mother was telling me she had similar expereinces for years and thought it was just reflux, but was infact gall stones. Someone with experience and more details — please respond. Thanks!
Also, if you do have some info, can you provide ways of figuring it out, and any alternative/complementary things to save your gallbladder — if this is it…
By the way – I am currently taking collestrum organic -5 g.daily with powdered probiotic. This instantly cures any GERD symptoms – but have too keep taking it. I did the Hulda Clark Gall bladder flush protocol last year, and did pass, the green pea shaped things.
I have also done ultra simple diet, and have a slew of medical foods and other products.
All of your answers are really wonderful and I expecially appreciate the bicarboonate recommendation.
I do take cell salts, but will introduce some of the bicarb products. I actually purchased potassium bicarb from a beer making store, as I read somewhere that it was really important with stomach issues. JusI have a clean diet. Mainly whole foods, and i also eat a whole foods a lot. Been moving to a blander diet, and less food combinations. Gluten free, etc… Also, had major breathing problems/ anaphalaxis which went immediately away with the protonix..II can actually feel the gall bladder/liver area spasm. So, I’ll be doing mor

Ok, to me, this question is very easy to answer. I, myself, had gallbladder issues for TWO years before I was finally correctly diagnosed with gallstones and had to have surgery. I had many symptoms beforehand, including extreme nausea, gas pains, intense gallbladder spasms, horrible acid reflux (but I also have GERD on top of it), bouts of pain in my back and side, and a sour taste in the back of my mouth. My pain stayed mostly on the right side of my upper stomach and radiated to the upper-middle of my stomach around to my back, but always stayed on the right side. I was miserable!! I was on Protonix, as well, but it didn’t do a darn thing for me. I’d ask for another pill to control the reflux and I’d request an ultrasound of your gallbladder too. As to alternative/complementary things to save your gallbladder…..forget it!! Get rid of the darn thing if it’s giving you problems, it’s better out than in and you can definitely live without it! It would be way too much of a pain to keep it, than it would be to have them remove it. Good luck and I really hope you find out what is bothering you!

To be absolutely certain, you
need a sonogram of your
liver and gallbladder.
If a Dr. orders it, your ins.
will pay for it.
If you have gallstones, it will
show how large they are and
how many and most importantly, where they are located. If they are at the
duct opening there is always
the danger they can get
stuck in the duct and that
means emergency surgery.
With the new laporoscopic
surgery, it it only 4 tiny incisions, the gallbladder is
cut and removed, and it’s all
over.
The main problem after
surgery is that you cannot
digest fats and oils as well
as before and therefore should take some digestive
enzymes after each meal plus
it is very beneficial to take
ox bile (in pill form).

Try these remedies:
Sounds like you have an acid gut. Your blood and gut should always be slightly alkaline and your body always works hard to maintain this alkalinity. But if you have a stressful lifestyle(..and most of us do nowadays) and eat junk, processed food(acid forming) then your body is continually stressed and weakened by it’s acid state. This can lead to a weakened immune system with illness and disease occurring frequently. There is an easy remedy for this, I use this remedy every day now. Check the remedies at this website:
http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/alkalizing_formulas.html
Apart from curing all sorts of things(read the blogs and testimonials) it also helps with gallbladder problems and says the following:
"A gall bladder needs a lot of bicarbonates(alkalinity) during digestion and they are one of the important components. If bicarbs are lacking, a gall bladder problem is possible. The vitamin c content neutralizes excess oxidation, and reduces the pain by both antioxidation and excess acidity which causes gallbladder pain. "
These remedies are simple, cheap and free. I take the lemon + half glass water + baking soda alkalizing remedy and it works wonders. No more stomach pain, no more hard stools and I sleep like a baby. And I have had no illness in over a year now.
You may or may not have a gallstone problem – but check out this website for natural gallstone flushes:

Gallstone flush remedies aren’t particularly nice, but are perhaps better than invasive surgery.
Try the alkalizing remedy first and then the gallstone flush remedies if you need to.
To take these remedies I would also advise you stop taking your meds or at least consult you doctor about the possible chemical conflicts between protonix and the remedies,
Good luck

Hi, there. First of all, you may find immediate relief from drinking 1-2 tblsp aloe vera juice (mixed into a glass or water or green tea) throughout the day. The aloe vera calms and heals the entire digestive tract. This truly works.
There ARE very effective gallbladder treatments that do NOT require surgery. Have you ever heard of a liver flush? A liver flush involves drinking a special recipe of lemon juice, oil and other items you can find in a grocery store. The combination of the recipe causes your liver to "flush out" excess bile and toxins, and also causes your gallbladder to flush out stones and debris. The "stones" that are passed are very soft globs of bile, gall and occasionally cholesterol. They are not painful to pass, and you should begin feeling better within a few days.
Liver flushing is a somewhat controversial therapy (many people say that the "stones" that are flushed out are nothing more than soap), I know for a fact that it works and works well. I used to have sporadic gallbladder attacks, but now have none. I also used to have elevated liver enzymes, but my levels are perfect now.
To read more about doing a liver flush, visit: http://www.curezone.org. There is a liver flush FAQ near the bottom of the page. Read through that to get an idea of what a liver flush is. It might also be helpful to look at the pictures provided. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Good luck!!

Sometimes they can run hand in hand. In my family’s case if you have one you have the other. I would recommend having it looked into. For the Reflux here is some information.
I am not a doctor, so either way you will want to talk to them, but this is what I have to say as a long time sufferer of Acid Reflux (G.E.R.D.)!
Three part answer information, what not to do, and what to do!
INFORMATION!!!!!!
I have a very severe case of Acid Reflux (G.E.R.D.). I have had to go to the hospital for some of the heartburn that I have had because the pain can become overwhelming or your breathing can be effected. It can be caused by Smoking, Drinking Beverages with caffeine (My case), Drinking Beverages with Alcohol, or can be Hereditary
The good thing about G.E.R.D. is that it can be a temporary thing and can be cured. It is never a permit thing even if you end up with it for the rest of your life it has the ability to be cured.
G.E.R.D. is caused by too much acid being created in your stomach. This can lead to or cause ulcers, esophagus damage, heartburn and/or damage in the mouth.
WHAT NOT TO DO!!!!!!!!
In most cases, stress is a factor to the reflux if you watch what you eat and reduce some of the stress it will help. If you watch what you eat for about a week you should find relief, if you do not then that is when you definitely what to listen to the doctor. Things to watch for are as follows:
Fatty Foods
Citrus Foods
Foods That Contain Grease
Fried Foods
Chocolate (including any Coco)
Caffeine
Smoking
Alcohol
Tomato Based Products
Lactose
WHAT TO DO!!!!
The two foods that I recommend is Black strap Molasses and Raw honey. The apple is better for night time reflux while these will work for just about all of it. What you will do is take about a tsp. of whatever one you chose. Molasses being the better because of strength and nutrition, but must be use to the taste. What the substance will do is stick to the sides of the esophagus and do two things, one is heal and the other is protect.
On the healing end, both substances have a healing property in them, and as they sit on the walls of the esophagus they will heal it. This is also helpful if you have a sore throat in the morning from refluxing.
On the protection end, both substances are high in sugar and when acid that is refluxed comes up to that the sugar will neutralize it and it will not longer be a problem at that point.
I would also look to putting Cinnamon and Ginger in you diet, they have been know to help with digestion and will help you reduce the amount of acid needed to brake down food, therefore causing you to reflux less.
