Passing a kidney stone. During my EMS days, I saw grown men curled up on the floor in a fetal position screaming and crying and begging for pain medicine (like fentanyl) while the stone is being passed.
It is roughly equivalent to a woman with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy…excruciating.

My mom dealt with both and she said child birth was worse
Ive been through child birth too, so at least that’s out of the way if the stones are hereditary
