Pain on the side of my lower back… possible kidney infection please help?
I started feeling the sharp pain every two to three minutes… sometimes its more constant. The pain is like a shock but its not severe. Last night I was feeling it by my pelvic bone in the front. Its on the right side of my body only… I’ve research and it seems to be Kidney Stones or a Kidney infection of some sort. I have to wait until Monday to go to the doctor so do you guys have any remedies for me to lessen the symptoms? What can I do for now until I can go to the Dr. ? I’m afraid the pain will increase and I don’t want to go to urgent care. Should I avoid certain food? What should I do? I’m scared… I heard Kidney Stones are REALLY PAINFUL. Ouch!

one of the main signs of a kidney infection is blood in your urine. so if you don’t have that or any pain while urinating its most likely not a kidney infection. I’ve had a few of them and trust me you will know if you have one. Try putting a hot pack on your back, that’s what helped me

What you describe sounds very much like a kidney stone, go now to get it checked. I waited and wound up spasming on the floor of my apartment because of the pain.
