Moderate blood in urine, no bacteria found?

What could this be?
I think it has occurred simultaneously with a virus.
I have virus symptoms similar to a cold and a low grade fever.
They tested for bladder infection but found no bacteria, just "moderate" blood in the urine.
I also have lower side and lower back pain.
I’m on day 4 of Cipro, just in case it is a bladder infection.
They x-rayed for kidney stones but I won’t know ’til next week.
Any idea of what this could be? I still have aching in my lower back/sides somewhat and still had a fever as of yesterday.

-bladder infection
-kidney infection
-trauma to kidney (getting hit in sports, for example)
-kidney stones
-bladder stones
-bladder tumor/kidney tumor (not to scare you that you might have one but they can cause blood in the urine too)
the aching to me would seem to indicate a kidney issue
