How To Pass A Kidney Stone
I am seven weeks pregnant with kidney stones in both kidneys. (multiple stones). Its been two weeks and ive felt a stone down in my right ureter that just doesnt seem to be going anywhere. I just want them to pass. Has anyone experienced a kidney stone during pregnancy and what’s the longest you’ve carried the stone before passing it. Two weeks seems like a long time. Also if down the line i have to have a stent put in, are stones able to pass while you have the stent in? I have so many unanswered questions and im only in the first trimester of my pregnancy. Please help!!!!!

Women. Kidney stones that strike women are more apt to occur during pregnancy, usually in the late stages. During pregnancy, women tend to have a higher calcium intake and at the same time their kidneys handle calcium less efficiently. Kidney stones are still a rare occurrence during pregnancy, however, affecting only 1 in 1,500 pregnancies.
Drink plenty of water, that may make it pass sooner. Sorry for that, i know how painful it is.

I am assuming you have had an ultrasound that has confirmed a stone in the ureter. Stents are sometimes helpful but it depends on the size of the stone. The stent dilates the ureter and allow urine and stones to flow more freely.
Kidney stone pain will start up under the lower rib cage, radiate around your side and into the groin. It should also come and go and not be steady. Your urine maybe bloody or have microscopic blood in it. If your urine has neither it is very unlikely that your symptoms are a stone. If your pain is only in the lower pelvis and not in the back I would do an ultrasound on you to make sure there is not a ectopic.
