doing some college work and was researching UTIs looked at my paper and it only said cute urinary infection. so im confused…

Any urinary infection occurs within the urinary tract, so it is the same thing. You can refer to them as acute (one time) or chronic (recurring) urinary infections, or urinary tract infections.
