I’m confused, why would lemonade prevent kidney stones when acidic environments cause kidney stones?

You are wrong about acidic environments causing stones. The only kind of acid that causes kidney stones is uric acid, usually found to be very high among people who suffer from gouty arthritis, such as myself. I have to take allopurinol pills to keep my uric acid levels in check, or I will end up with a nasty breakout of gout on my foot, causing my big toe to swell and my foot to look like a 9 iron golf club. Lemonade and cramberry juice is very good for the kidneys because it cleanses the urinary system of uric acid crystal buildup.

I know cranberry juice helps your urinary tract because of its acidic nature and other factors in the cranberry. Lemonade that is natural and made from lemons may have the same affect of eliminating extra calcium in your kidneys and urinary tract.
