I’m a dietitian and here are some answers to the ones I know.
1. Common practice in hospitals is 30-35kCal/ kg body weight and 1.5-2g protein / kg body weight
3. The latest ESPN recommendations are not to restrict protein in people with renal disease.
4. Steatorrhea is unrelated to renal disease. In dialysis you cant reabsorb water soluble nutrients like the tubules of the kidney does.
5. a) because these water soluble vitamins and minerals will be lost in the urine whilst the others are not in the urine. Iron is tightly bound to transferrin and does not make it past the glumerulus into the urine.
8. a). As high oxalate complexes with calcium to form stones. Look up the nurses health study II for information on this.
9. Not sure, but the chronic inflammatory disorder Crohns disease leads to an increased risk of colorectal cancer.
