Kidney stones are one of the most common disorders of the urinary tract. About one half million stones are reported in the United States each year. Kidney stones affect about 12 percent of men and 5 percent of women by the age of 70 years. The peak age for a stone is between 20 and 40 years old. Caucasians have an increased incidence as compared to African Americans. Stones are more common in hot climates and the peak incidence occurs one or two months after the hottest months.
Most visible stones in the upper urinary tract may be treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, which delivers shock waves that fragments the stone with the patient lying on an X-ray table. However, there may be situations, such as in patients on anticoagulation (blood thinners) therapy, where the stones may also be treated with ureteroscopy using a tiny fiberoptic scope into the ureter to visualize the inside of the kidneys, and employing laser or other forms of energy to break up kidney stones or destroy smaller tumors of the lining of the kidney or ureter. For larger stones that may have several branches or that may be too dense for ureteroscopic treatment, surgery, called percutaneous nephrostolithotomy, through a half-inch puncture in the skin into the kidney is the standard approach, avoiding the painful incision of open surgery.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that sucks!
My sister had one of them- her pain was so bad that they put her on intense painkillers.
What you are supposed to do is just drink tons of water until it passes by itself.

Yes, if your doctor said you could avoid surgery, you probably can. Most likely, they will slowly dissolve as you drink more water & take your medication. If the kidney pain gets worse, see your doctor again, and be sure not to drink anything carbonated.
Cranberry juice and citrus things like lemonade are good for your kidneys & urinary tract as well, and can help dissolve your kidney stones.

ask your doctor about the pool or some sort that sends shocks to the kindneys and it makes the stones smaller so you could pass them

I had kidney stones once. They did an iv pylogram or whatever it’s called and found them. The only thing is that with me, I ended up peeing thim out and hurt ALOT! I don’t really know what your question is, but I can relate. I also had very bad kidney pain, and there was some blood in my urine. Since then I have drunk lots of water cause I never want to go through that again!

You can try lithographs in which the stone is broken into pieces without surgery and the broken pieces are allowed to pass through urine.

I’ve heard of many ways to get rid of kidney stones. One of them was a diet that would get you of taking in alot of olive oil then take epson salts, or maybe that was gallstones don’t remember can’t help u much…

In today’s times it has been a common remedy to have them removed which may mean surgery. I, myself, have had my gall bladder removed and because of it have suffered thru eating all types of foods. I believe our bodies are made in "perfect" symmetry and that the creator knew we needed everything we have. While we have poor diets and low to moderate exercise I still believe that some options AREN’T to cut you open. Most of the time doctors will offer medications to try and offset the size and sometimes the pain. Problem with medications is there are side effects and it can still be costly. I would suggest trying a holistic approach. If you are able, and there is one, go to your nearest health food store and ask them for supplements for kidney health. Additionally have you considered having your colon cleansed? This may assist too. Whatever you do take care of that body and reconsider the quick fix whatever it may be.

You probably can have a lithotripsy A procedure where a small tube is inserted into the kidneys and sound waves break up the stones and are flushed out of the system. That is if the medication does not dissolve the stones. This would be an outpatient procedure
Surgery as it was 10 years ago will probably not be necessary.
