I have a kidney stone on my right side. I have had pain for about a week but today it really started to hurt.?

The pain is getting more intense. It is on my lower right side and through my pelvic area. It is also getting harder to urinate. Does this mean the stone is getting ready to pass?
I am a female. I just want to make sure this is normal and if this pain means it is going to pass soon

IF you can pass it. More than one member of my family has had stones. You need to see a doctor about this asap as there might be a blockage. This pain only gets worse. Go to the ER. Good luck.

Yes! You should be drinking at least 2 liters of water per day to help it pass. Remain as active as you can (considering you are in pain), take a hot bath, and take pain pills if you have them or call the doctor for some. If the pain gets beyond the control of pain medication go to the ER.

Have you seen a Doctor? They can be real dangerous. Mine had to be surgically removed. The pain was excruciating worse than labour and I had 4 all natural no drugs. The kidney stone was worse. Seek medical help and good luck.

No, it’s clogging up ur urination vessel ! Immediately consult a doctor! He can prescribe u a Madison to thin the kidney stone or he will remove it with a shock wave. Trust me! I had the same problem!
