How long following lithotripsy should I see stones in the funnel?

My husband had lithotripsy 3 days ago. They ran a stent fro the kidney to the bladder. He is to urinate into a funnel with a sceen to catch any stones which may pass. So far nothing. How long could it take? How long with nothing before we assume it didn't work?

It could be that the stones were so pulverized that they do not show up at all; that was my experience. I had two lithotripsies, and (knock on wood) have not had any trouble since. But I never DID find anything in the screen that was discernable as a piece of the stone(s).
