How frequent were your kidney stone pains? I may have a kidney stone. I haven't had pain since the end of January. Now it is the end of March. Could I still have a kidney stone even though I have no pain or symptoms?

Kidney stone pain is the result of the kidney trying to push the obstruction (stone) out of your system. It's excruciatingly painful and the most potent pain killer did little to alleviate it.
I spent hours in hot water which seemed to help. The pain is pretty much constant and enough to make a grown man cry.

If you have no pain you either already passed the stone or that was not what you had. Kidney stones come in all shapes and sizes. From tiny grains the size of the period at the end of this sentence to much larger. Hard to believe something that tiny could cause such pain but believe me it can.

More that likely you may have passed it. If you are concerned check with your doctor.

i had one and it got stuck the pain went away before i passed it
drink lots of water and it you think you have one see a doctor right away

I have several kidney stones that are too large to pass, they do not cause me pain because they rest in the lower portion of the renal pelvis and do not move. When they start moving, they can cause considerable pain, and the danger is that if they move they can obstruct the uretur, this is a medical emergency for it can and will damage your kidney. You say you "may" have a kidney stone, it is an easy test to find out for sure, it's call a KUB with contrast. Ask your doctor to order one.
