Kidney Stone Pain Questions
This question is very random but this guy I know in my philosophy classes has been gone the past like 3 lectures. And texts me today asking when our tests are, and then I ask him where he’s been. He got kidney stones…
I heard it was one of the worst pains imaginable. How would one reduce the chances of getting kidney stones? What causes them?
thanks

Healthy diet and stay away from fast foods.
I have not experienced ‘kidney’ stones. But when I was 21, they had to remove my gall bladder for gall stones and the gall bladder was rotten! Yuck!
The pain is the most excruciating. The only pain I have ever experienced in comparison, is shingles.

find the cause -follow up with your nephrologist. they always test the stones to find their makeup.

The stones are calcium carbonate (like limestone). The doctor tells me to stay away from soda pops (loaded with carbonation). Lots of soda robs the body of calcium and the stones are formed.
People are different in many ways, one way is how some are prone to developing theses stones. The best answer is to SEE physician and learn the lifestyle that will protect YOU from the pain and suffering of this unhappy circumstance.

Very severe dehydration as in saunas can cause kidney stones so before and after a sauna you need to have a few scoops of water.
