Have you ever had a kidney stone?
So i woke up this morning to a urgency to go pee, and when i went i couldnt go but a few drips…No burning…No pain…but a few drips…I was bleeding, but im not sure if it could be because my cycle is going off…But anywho, i went to the doctor and he asked me alot of questions because i told him i thought it might be a UTI (never had one but googled the symptoms)…I told him that my lower left side had started hurting really bad right after I tried for a 3rd or 4th time to use the bathroom, so he came to the conclusion it probably wasnt a UTI, but something to do with my kidneys, since that one area was hurting…Fastforward, I went and got a CT Scan and i should be getting a call from my doctor soon, meanwhile he’s got me on antibiotics for a UTI just in case, and pain reliever’s for my side pain…I guess my question is, has anyone ever had a kidney stone or a kidney infection, what did it feel like and how did you get rid of the stone?

I’ve had a few kidney stones, I have also had a UTI. It sounds like you have a kidney stone. Although, when I had one I was severely nauseous. I couldn’t stop throwing up. I also had a extremely painful cramp on the lower right side of my back. The doctors gave me a strainer to catch the stone when I passed it. I didn’t always use the strainer so I didn’t know if i passed it or not. My symptoms went away then one day I was wiping myself after going pee and I found a little stone on the toilet paper. The doctors want to see it once you pass it so I brought it in to them. So, to get rid of it just drink a ton of water and keep trying to pee it out. I was given pain medication and nausea pills. Good luck, if you have any other questions I’d be happy to answer them.

Yes, several very large stones and they all passed with time. You need to be drinking gallons of water, but listen to your doctor and it will probably pass.
However, I hope he did a blood test to rule out appendicitis or something more serious.
It feels just like you describe with a general blah feeling. the pain can come and go as the stone moves down your urinary tract.
Good luck.

it’s hurts like a mofo!
blood, aches, cramps, pains and blood! lots of peeing and hey, drink that orange juice, water, cranberry juice, water, orange juice, water, so on…
you get the point…
and make peace with that stone.. cuz when it comes your urethra is going to be scratchy, itchy and OUCHY!
if it’s a stone.. could be something else.. but stone is the least of the disorders.. painful, achey and you’ll feel like you got a miniflu….. but let’s hope it’s just a stone…
then that’ll mean you hurt a bit…. then learn your lesson and hydrate more and have a more vegetarian diet (not all the way.. just loads more fruits and vegetables.. that are FRESH!)
so i assume much…. hoping.. cuz you can cure a stone issue.. just pee it out…. most times it’s the size of a dust particle and then it’s over… you heal and learn.
let’s hope it’s nothing devistating.. the body is a sensitive system.
good luck.
processed foods are hard on the digestive tract and when your digestive system is annoyed then it spreads to your circulartory system… endocrine system and respiratory… so try and cut that down.. this is a prelude to something.. but you can cut it short.. nip it in the bud with a healthier diet.
