Does Vicodin cause hangover-type symptoms?

I’ve been on Vicodin the past few days for a kidney stone and every morning I’ve been waking up with a headache and I just feel so tired and drained all day, even though I haven’t taken any Vicodin at all today.
Also, I am only taking 1 or 2 5mg Vicodin a day (if that) and the next day I feel like this.
Is this normal or is it caused by something other than the Vicodin?

Hi Rainy Owl, it’s the Vicodin. It reacts the same way with me and I avoid taking it as much as I can. Is there any way you can get by with Extra Strength Tylenol or Aleve? I hate the way I feel on Vicodin.
