How To Pass A Kidney Stone
Ok, so i wanted to know a little more about this. Does EVERYBODY pass kidney stones? Is it like something everybody does. E,g, everybody urinates. So as asked above, does everyone pass a stone at some stage or is it just certain people and what brings them on/causes them?
What can be done to prevent them? Plenty of fluids by the sounds of the answers.

Not everyone passes kidney stones… Probably a better statement would be, not everyone experiences kidney stones in there lifetime. They are hardened mineral deposits that form within the kidney(s) due to filtered sediment that doesn’t get flushed out of the kidney(s) when urine passes from the kidney(s) to the bladder. The pain associated with kidney stones is due to their jagged shape and the actual motion of them banging around inside the kidney…this is why we’re told to drink a lot of water when we’re trying to pass one. It’s to keep the stone floating, rather than letting it bang around to cut/scratch the tissue of the kidney. But a lot of times, the stone(s) are oddly shaped or too large to pass on their own, thus requiring surgery or blasting to break them up. If you’ve never experienced one, be thankful. After experiencing both natural child birth AND a kidney stone, the kidney stone was 100 times more painful. It felt like someone was stabbing me with a knife (from the inside) up under my rib cage, along with severe back cramps, and a horrible UTI. Horrible… There are differing causes for stones; usually once they are removed (passed) they are sent on for testing to see what in the patient’s diet caused it. Hope this helped to answer your question… :0)

no not everyone gets kidney stones, and if they do the stone may not be big enough to pass threw the body so it has to be surgically removed.
It is a build up of calcium in the urethra that causes it.

No, you aren’t supposed to pass kidney stones but it’s okay if you do. Kidney stones are made up of a solid mass of crystals. They occur when the urine is made up of certain substances. They can also occur if you’re dehydrated.
