surgery. If anyone knows from experience of what works or what they would have done different. I know its a huge money market as well as plenty of gimics designed to get the sufferer to pay more money then they originally have to. Is laser surgery really the best way to break them up and remove them. I have a 4mm kidney stone that has already been hell for a month. I feel I’m about to die. Any REAL help would be appreciated. So please no JERKS!!!

I had surgery after four painful days. Guess what, it wasn’t there when they went in!
I’m not sure what your situation exactly is, but I didn’t eat or drink anything, and I mean anything before I had the surgery, so a few days…I threw up everything and my insides…TMI, but if you can drink a lot of water.

Wow, having been there myself, I feel your pain. Honestly from experience, there aren’t any ‘alternative’ methods of getting rid of a kidney stone. Especially not when it is 4mm. The lithotripsy is the best method to break up the stone. Really, if you have been in unrelenting pain for a month you need resolution. Just go for it so that your pain is over with. I hope this all gets sorted out for you quickly. Good luck!

I am going through them now for the 2nd time . So I feel your pain also. Although this time it’s only a 2mm stone the last time it was a 5×5 in my ureter and the same in my kidney. I had the lithotripsy done and I agree it is a relatively simple procedure. The most uncomfortable part of it was the stint they left in my ureter for a week afterwards to allow the broken pieces to pass easier. However, a lot of people believe in a few home remedies aand I have included a link to them. Either way good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
