Can this be a contributing factor to a urinary tract infection?

Urinary Tract Infections
I recently had protected sex, but the condom slipped off in the middle of sex. We didn’t find out until afterwards and he had to pull it out of me…it was in me for about 10 minutes. We bought Plan B the next morning and I took both of those pills. The next day, I got a urinary tract infection. Could either one of these things (plan b/lost condom) be a factor of this infection?

Condoms are a lot cleaner than penises. Meaning if there was some additional bacteria on his penis then that could have been pushing bacteria from him and your own bacteria into your urethra.
Sex was the main culprit, but there are things you can do to prevent infections from happening again like they said: peeing after sex helps, as well as washing thoroughly with soap and water and keeping your fluids up.
Also, there is no way he didn’t know the condom was off…I hope you made him pay for the pills.

It could deffently be why,you can get uti’s for several different reasons. The doctors say always go to the bathroom afterwards to avoid any bacterica in the vagina. Maybe get checked out but im sure there was just bacteria inside of you after that caused it!!!

Urinary tract infections in women are way more common then you think and it is sexually caused. The motions of your coitus forces fluids into your urethra and this is what causes the infection to start. Pee after sex each time and it won’t happen anymore.
