can i use naproxen when i have kidney stones?

my kidney stones are back and have no insurance to go to the hospital. would naproxen help ease the pain?

You can try naproxen, drink lots of fluids and take a hot bath to relieve the pain and hopefully that will help, but it’s really best to get medical help and prescription strength painkillers. The ER can’t turn you away. Good luck.

Try 600 mg of ibuprophen instead. I’ve had kidney stones too. Its unbearable isn’t it? Id go to the emergency room anyway and get on their indigent program. I wouldn’t be able to pass a kidney stone without some heavy pain meds. But if you can do it, you are my hero.
