Urinary Tract Infections
I believe that my dog has a urinary tract infection and I am looking for an antibiotic that I can get online. She is a field spaniel/lab mix and is about 20 Lbs. I know there are a lot of people who are going to say I should just take her to a vet, but I’m pretty confident that it is a urinary infection and I don’t want to pay a vet a hundred dollars just to tell me the name of what is probably a very common medication.

Before ordering antibiotics online, you should take into consideration the essential requirements for reliable online pharmacy: first of all, it’s valid license, secondly positive feedbacks on pharmacy where you are going to buy antibiotics. If you are interested to learn more things to consider, read my blog. As to antibiotics, I buy them at http://www.drugsfinder.net/. However, I’ve never treated dogs. But the website provides online consultation of licensed pharmacists. Hopefully they will help you.

My pup got clavamox for her UTI, I KNEW it was one but I had her seen.. you never know. Especially if she is older, UTI is more common in pups, common in adults as well but in adults it could also be stones or cystitis :\ at least see if they’ll just do a urinalysis for you..
edit- wanted to second what bean said, i suspected a UTI when my pup was needing to go out more and having accidents but wasnt sure if it was just teething, OVERNIGHT literally it was clear she was horribly uncomfortable and she was squatting and trying to pee literally every few minutes!! UTI’s are simple to treat, but definitely need quick attention.

You may feel "pretty confident that it’s a UTI," but… the symptoms of a UTI can mimic other things. I, too, was certain one of my pups had a UTI, and it turned out she’d ingested a small amount of rat poison at a neighbor’s house. She almost didn’t make it through that one, and if I’d waited to "prescribe" antibiotics myself, she surely wouldn’t have.
To be really confident in the diagnosis of a UTI, a vet has to do a urinalysis… so bite the bullet and go the vet. Even in very-expensive NYC, our vet charges only $40 to analyze a urine sample. You don’t even have to bring your dog in and pay for a visit; you can just bring in the sample.
Most dogs I’ve known who’ve had UTI’s have taken Clavamox. However, the dosage varies greatly with severity of infection, size, overall health, etc.
ADD: Plus, by the time your shipment arrives in the mail, your pup’s infection (if that’s what she has) will be severe and very painful. UTI’s are extremely painful and uncomfortable, even in the early stages… Do your dog a favor, and get her some quick relief at her vet’s office.
