Is it the side/back/stomach pain that is the worst part? Or is it the stinging when you pee it out? I’ve been experiencing the side and stomach aches, I just dont know how badly I should be dreading the urination part. thanks

I’ve searched on the net, and i have looked for kidney stone remedies. All of the other people claim that there pain hurts really bad in general. I have pain in my lower left back area and the only time i feel it is when i try to stretch my back or sit up straight. Do i really have kidney stones or no? I’ve tried the olive oil and lemon juice remedy, but it seems like that made the pain worse! NOTE: I only feel this pain when i stretch my back or sit up straight. I started to feel this pain shortly before christmas 2007, and now it is february 2008 and i still feel it! I don’t know what to do. I don’t wanna feel this pain anymore! I’m still young, only 15 1/2. Yes i tried to drink more water but this hasn’t really done much and im not sure if i really have kidney stones. I dont wanna go to the doctor or have surgery or anything like that, because my dad will be like I told you so, because he would always tell me to drink more water and cut down on other kinds of drinks and i did. Help!

So i woke up this morning to a urgency to go pee, and when i went i couldnt go but a few drips…No burning…No pain…but a few drips…I was bleeding, but im not sure if it could be because my cycle is going off…But anywho, i went to the doctor and he asked me alot of questions because i told him i thought it might be a UTI (never had one but googled the symptoms)…I told him that my lower left side had started hurting really bad right after I tried for a 3rd or 4th time to use the bathroom, so he came to the conclusion it probably wasnt a UTI, but something to do with my kidneys, since that one area was hurting…Fastforward, I went and got a CT Scan and i should be getting a call from my doctor soon, meanwhile he’s got me on antibiotics for a UTI just in case, and pain reliever’s for my side pain…I guess my question is, has anyone ever had a kidney stone or a kidney infection, what did it feel like and how did you get rid of the stone?

i have been diagnosed with having 1mm stones,1 in my bladder and 1 still in my left kidney,i think i may have passed the 1 in the bladder,but i’m not sure of the one in the kidney,how will i know if i did,what happens if it just stays in the kidney for a long period of time,and why does some people see blood in their urine and some doesn’t,i have been in pain for almost a month now but never seen blood,please,i need help understanding more about kidney stones..

My doctor gave me a ct scan come to find out i have kidney stones and a cyst on my ovaries i am in alot of pain from this extremley uncomfortable! The thing is he has gave me about 55 5 mg pills in 3 weeks i am in a lot of pain i don’t want to come off like a drug seeker but i feel as though i need them. Is it to soon to ask for more i haven’t passed my kidney stones?

I’m really sore and itchy in my vagina and it’s inflamed down there. it was bleeding yesterday from scratching so much and today i’m having alot of discharge.It burns when i pee.Does anybody know how to treat a yeast/urinary tract infection? I have the symptoms of kidney stones, or UTI’s. I do NOT have any kidney stones of urine infections or bladder infections. I thought i did, but after several tests, and ultra sounds there are no problems in that area.

What else could be causing burning when urination with incontinence, as well as abdominal pains, pain in my lower back, and foul smelling urine? I’ve had the burning and incontinence for exactly one year now, and i’m thinking maybe its an STI such as chlamydia?
I went to a urologist, that was all the tests he does. I cant do any tests for STD’s or STI’s til im back in the UK.
And he can’t think what i could have. I’m 18 and living in an arab country so he cant suspect anything sexual because it’s illegal out of marriage.

im 24, fresh out of college w/ an engineering degree. I have a good job setup. Now i’ve had several gf’s in my days, but the longest relationship i’ve ever been in was 6 months long. I am a 28 yr.old female and for the past 3 wks. I have had a lump, the shape of a hot dog near or in the area of my ureter. The lump can only be felt when I lie down. I can put pressure on it and push it down, tighten my stomach muscles, relax the stomach muscles and the position of the lump will still be in the same place. I have had a constant ache in my side and lower back pain. I have had ultra sound done with blood work and urine cultures to rule out tubal pregnancy. I wanted to know if this lump could be associated with kidney stones. I have been a huge coffee drinker, about a pot a day, but have since cut down to one cup while pushing lots of water. Has anyone had this lump and is it associated with kidney stones?

My cat’s pee has a little blood in it, i noticed it outside of her litter box. she was frequently urinating, and only producing a small amount each time, I suspected UTI. the blood was only a little bit in the begining, now it’s just urine

i took her to the vet, and they put her on Clavamox (broad spectrum anti-biotic) for an infection. they also want to do a urinealysis & bladder scan for stones/bacteria. Yet when i inquired about this they told me change of diet is appropirate. my question is…What should a kitty with this be eating?

I have not done the testing yet, due to financial reasons. the vet bill alone was 0.

she seems better today, but she is a little fatigued. does any know if this is a side effects of this antibiotic? or if this is a sign of something more serious than i thought.

I am a 32 male and was told by my Doctor that I may have a Kidney stone, though as most cases go I did not find blood whille I pee, though the doctor did a urine test and said they found blood in my urine. I am going for an X-ray which I hope there will be no stone as then I won’t have to have a CT Scan done, for now the Doctor gave me Flomax which is a drug used to allow me to flush the stone out of my system?
How on earth do I know it’s fully been flushed out, though my pain is not as bad as the first 2 days now it’s just a feeling of wanting to pee when nothing comes out and this burning sensation in my penis?

So is it really Kidney stones or something else?

I started off just thinking I had a nrinary infection but now i think it is kidney stones!
